Lg g2 d800 usb jig
I've changed my mind in the past couple of years. I used to recommend android phones to just about everyone back in the day. I don't see the G3 Vigor or original G Vista getting 6 and they're newer than the G2. LG has not stated devices below the G3 will get the update.
LG G2 D800 USB JIG 64 BIT
It stopped receiving OS updates - the latest one was in 2012 - because the update after that changed the OS so that it only supported 64 bit operations, but unfortunately the hardware (motherboard) inside the iMAC4,1 only supported 32 bit operations, and that is it, end of software update for it. I have an old iMAC4,1 bought in 2006, launched in january of 2006. Just for the sake of proving a point hear this one will ya?! I faced a true hardware limitation few years ago.
I can in full conscience affirm that in the case of the LG G2, the current hardware limitations said to prevent the OS from being updated to the current latest version (Marshmallow) are basically pseudo limitations, there is no limitation. A hardware should be used to its full potency until it is really no longer capable of dealing with the software. Every company has its way to maximize profits, from a customer point of view, those that do it hurting the customers less or even not at all are the ones that I personally admire most. And Apple currently supports their products for longer, doesn't matter how. What truly matters is how many years the product will be supported with the latest software. The issue your buddies had is a very particular one, suffered by a very small group, minority.
LG G2 D800 USB JIG UPGRADE
beautiful phone, will absolutely have the upgrade in os. since the phone has been out since 2013, you should be able to get a free upgrade now, though, like the g5. looking over the gsmarena information for the phone here: it's clear that the last update coming to the phone, as it is a bit older, is lollipop. and, that's odd, i had a number of buddies that couldn't update the iphone 4 numerous times, due to the sheer tiny space of the hdd. I'm very sorry, not all devices can support all of the updated present in each upgrade. I am a technical engineer so please do not try to fill me with the traditional bull. I could write other dozens but it would not help it.
G2 deservers that, and the hardware is fully compliant with doze mode, and that's just one example. For instance, Marshmallow introduces Doze mode, which is crucial to lower battery consumption achieving 10 to 50% longer battery duration depending on the usage. Hundreds of micro improvements come with a new iteration of an OS, just because the hardware doesn't support a couple one of them doesn't mean the other hundreds should be sacrificed. And it's not like the iPhone 4 or 4s get all the new features.ĭoesn't matter if it gets all the features the OS supports, what matters is that the OS is upgraded.
